Subject: Hi all, recently bought a bmw 1 series coupe 2010. How urgent would you say I need to get the breaks done on the back?
Has anyone ordered the nee m240i? If so, what has the waiting time been like? Anyone have any timelines regarding their order?

Subject: Question about the "Driving Assistance Professional Package" - is it necessary/recommended for X3 M40i
I apologize if this has been covered before - new to the forum and new to BMW. I am excited to have an X3 M40i on order and I am still at the stage during which I can make changes. I was wondering how the Driving Assistance Professional Package supplements the standard safety features and whether or not it is worth the $1,700 USD uncharge.
I am in my 40s and have been driving for a while, and currently have a Volvo XC90 with some of the features like adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist that I don't often use. My top needs in the new BMW are safety and reliability.
I live in a Midwestern City and generally don't spend a lot of time in stop and go traffic (short commute) to work, but do a fair amount of open highway driving.
Any advice is appreciated!

Subject: Huge difference in driving experience with non run flat tires?! (Just had changed from summer performance run flat tires to all seasons)
BMW X1 M Sport .. just got my car recently and absolutely love it. (X Drive, 19” rims)
I live in northeast USA and the car had summer performance run flat tires on it when I bought it. The ride was VERY smooth.
I had no choice but to get all season or winter tires. We have tons of snow / ice , etc here. I sold my summer tires and got new all season tires. (Non run flat)
So anyway, now when I drive the car it is choppy and bouncy. Also, a bit noisier.
Any advice?!

Subject: Paying 100,000+ for a x7 and they just told me it won't have a touch screen and parking assist?
That's pretty stupid to me. Should I still take the car?

Subject: I’m looking at a low mileage 2015 M4. Is there anything to know about that model year in particular?
Hi everybody! Today I finally purchased my first car. I have now joined the BMW community. Not a bad start with a certified pre-owned 318i. Drove it for a test drive and could not find a single fault, although I wish it was a 2.0L engine instead of a 1.5L. Anyways, I was discussing the car with a colleague who had a similar model but from 2014. He loved it except for one thing. The air conditioning unit. He mentioned that it kept breaking down, despite repeated repairs. Did/does anyone face the same issue with the AC? Would be nice to hear your thoughts.

I currently have a 2010 e93 325i with 70k miles. Wasn't intending to buy a new car but this looks like an insane deal. Too good to pass up?
