Subject: I bought a stock e93 335i with 80k miles for $3300. Owner was told the engine was blown and there was coolant in the oil. I decided to buy it and change ofhg. Unfortunately that didn’t fix it. So engine is finally out! And a new to me N54 is going in. I’ll be doing Rod bearings. gaskets. Turbos ect
Looking into buying one of my absolute dream cars, found someone selling a manual one with basically every option, 1 owner, 180k miles. What should i look out for with these? Because from what I understand they're incredibly reliable and a lot of drivetrain parts are interchangeable with the E28 5 Series.
Looking at BMW's again and i am here to ask is the e39 525d whit 5mt any good? Mainly looking at tourings as they are cheaper and more ofthen better taken care of. Any experiences or tips?
