Ordered a M40i and its currently scheduled for production. I optioned for 20" 699 bi color wheels which come staggered. I've never owned a vehicle that has a staggered set up.

Anyone have experience running the X3s this way, pros/cons? I've read as many posts as I could find on reddit bimmerpost, and I couldn't land on any opinion that resonated.

Won't track the car, daily drive (less than 10k a year) and will take on the occasional spirited drive through mountain curves. Live in northern VA where snow is becoming less and less frequent if that matters.

Also plan on ditching the summer runflats for michelin pilot sport a/s 4s as soon as I leave the dealer. Willing to hear opinions on tires as well, this will be my first bimmer,

Trying to decide between carbon buckets seats and regular sport seats. Will they regular sport seats hold me in well enough or will I be moving around in the cabin during hard turning. 4500 ain't cheap either but if only the buckets will hold me in then i got no choice. Also don't plan on tracking the car more so for canyon carving.

im looking at a 2004 bmw 645i but it needs a software update. how do i get that and how much does it cost

Has anyone used 19"x8.5" +35 on a M40i and do they clear the standard blue calipers?

I know stock is 19"x7.5" +32 for the Style 887M and Style 694 winters.
