Hey there y’all. I’m an American living in Germany and I just bought my first (operational) BMW. I got a sweet 2005 316i wagon with only 81k miles on it. Everything seems squared away and it passed the German inspection the day I bought it, so it should be solid.
I still want to do my due diligence and read through the owner’s manual(s), the originals of which I was given with the car. The issue is that they are printed solely in German, which I can’t read. I’ve been looking online for the manuals for this specific model, but I can’t seem to find them anywhere. If y’all know of a place I can obtain them, please share so that I can prepare myself for BMW ownership lol.
Also, if you have any tips or good to know info about this model — or just BMW’s in general — please share! I’m stoked to be joining this community, especially with such a sweet looking car. Help me be an informed owner and driver please!
