Hey y’all, outsider but love the look of bmws. Don’t know really anything about different models, I like sporty/peppy coupes.
Sick and tired of Dodge, challenger has a radiator leak after 33k miles (Previous car was a 2014 and radiator blew up at 155k miles.)
Trade in for Challenger is around 25k (‘19 v6).
Preferably Manual trans, 300ish hp. 2015-2020. Annual income is 116k. Shoot me some suggestions?

Subject: Is ambient lighting no longer included on 3 series?
I cannot find a straight forward answer online for this. Is the ambient lighting a standard included feature on the 2022 3 series, specifically the M340i? Or is it no longer standard included nor an option at all to add via a custom build.
I see on some other models in the builder such as the 440i Gran coupe that ambient lighting is an additional option, and sometimes required depending on seat selection, but that is not the case with the m340i.

It sat at the bottom of the fastest lap timesheets, the M4's in-race best of 1m46.897s set by Jesse Krohn aboard the #25 entry almost two seconds off the best GTD Pro lap of 1m45.087s from Laurens Vanthoor's KCMG Porsche. It was also slower than the best efforts posted by many silver-graded drivers in the pro-am GTD class.
Although both cars finished the race, with the car Krohn shared with Augusto Farfus, John Edwards and Connor De Phillippi classified seventh, it was 13 laps behind the winning Pfaff Motorsport Porsche after suffering early diffuser damage.
The sister #24 entry driven by Philipp Eng, Marco Wittmann, Nick Yelloly and Sheldon van der Linde was 46 laps down in ninth after damage to the diffuser and a puncture.
Rahal, an outright Daytona winner as a driver in 1981, said the team has a lot of work to do before the Sebring 12 Hours next month if it is to be competitive.
Pretty disappointing considering how successful previous cars were. Also... have to say... that gaping hole with no grille... 😖

Subject: Dad owned an e46, and im feeling the pull of nostalgia... help?
Hey yall! When I was younger, my dad used to own an 01 BMW e46. It was a 330i, in black, with a black leather interior. it among my first interactions with a car, and I always thought it was the coolest car in the world. We would work on it on weekends when I went to go see him, and it was like every time I was there, he was wrenching on it, which is a fantastic representation of the car's reliability...
I miss that car a lot, and im not even the biggest BMW fan, im more of a Honda or Subaru guy myself, but now that im car shopping again, and now that I got a bigger budget, around 10k, which is a lot for me, lol, I'm feeling the pull of nostalgia, and am looking at e46's. Theres a few with less than 100k miles on them around me for my budget, and im genuinely wondering about purchasing one.
If I were to go for one, 330i, or 330ci would be my choice, I don't have m3 Money, lol. It's not my first rodeo working on cars, I've done my fair share of parts replacements, but it would be my first time owning German, so I guess I want to know what im going to be in for if I buy a 20 year old BMW for my daily driver... Instinct says to don't, but I don't really like that answer, soooo, I guess I wanna know what ill be in for if I decide to actually give in to my nostalgia. Thanks!
