Subject: NJ state inspection with catless downpipe...talk to me.

I'm registering my car in NJ for the 1st time. I have a catless downpipe with a JB4 tune that makes the CEL go away. Car is also tinted 5% but that shouldn't be an issue. Any NJ guys catless here that can advise would be much appreciated.

Subject: Removing paint from carbon fiber ?

Looking at a E92 M3 and the previous owner for some reason painted the carbon roof to match the rest of the car (space grey). Is it irreversible now smh. The roof was a major selling point for me.

Subject: BMW won’t accept 3rd party buyouts on leases anymore?

Is anyone familiar with this? I want to trade in BMW but I was told I can’t because BMW won’t accept 3rd party buyouts anymore. I purchased my BMW in September of 2020, an entire year and a month before that went into effect on 10/01/21. They can’t hold me to that new policy, right?

BMW noob here. I just got a 2018 530e XDrive iPerformance and wanted to know if you can lock the door from the outside handle or without the key. On my old car when exiting I had a button on the outside door handle I'd would press the button to lock it. When I get out now and press the lock on the inside nothing happens.

So TLDR; can I lock the door exiting the car with using the key?
