Hey guys! I’m from zipcode 90020 in Los Angeles, CA and I was looking to buy a BMW x5 xdrive45e. I was wondering what the average price these units are selling for and also if there are any incentives for buying this model. Subject: Why has the i8 not been engine swapped?

It has been 8 years now since the release of the i8, and I have not been able to find any evidence of a true engine swap, apart from the Alpina i8 prototype. I can see how the challenges of the carbon chassis and tiny engine bay could cause problems, but given that Alpina has done it, it must be possible. Anyone familiar with the mechanics of the i8, would an engine swap be feasible given enough money and what engine would be appropriate?
