Subject: Could my previous pirating of Civ 6 be interfering with my ability to play legit Civ 6
I first pirated civ 6 a while ago. Then I decided I wanted to buy the legit version on steam.
(I can't remember if i directly bought it on steam or if it was through humble bundle).
I also can't remember if I just wanted to buy it for the auto updates and stuff or if I bought it so I could play multiplayer. I can say however, that when I tried to play multiplayer (this happened a few months ago, I'm only making this post now because ive only realised this might be a problem now), I found that I could not.
The 2k account button/picture in the bottom left of the menu screen was greyed out and showed I wasn't connected to 2k. The unified play button was also greyed out with an orange exclamation mark on the button (like to the left of the text). (the normal (non cross version) multiplayer potentially works fine. I say potentially because its not greyed out and I can click into it and see other people's games but i haven't actually tried it since my friends have the epic version)
I tried going to the website and linking/unlinking my steam account. Redownloading, verifying files, etc. Even contacted customer support. They were literally no help and basically marked the problem as solved saying that they couldn't fix it but the developers had been notified (this happened over a year ago. Its still not fixed so safe to say its unlikely it will ever be fixed).
There is very little info on the internet about this problem, and even support weren't able to fix it.
So what are the chances that civ 6 has some sort of weird DRM that prevents me from playing online because I had previously pirated the game? Or that some of the files or something about the pirated game was interfering with the legitimate game?

Subject: PS4 Call of Duty Vanguard - Campaign not installed!
I have downloaded the following:
High Speed ] UP0002-CUSA24041 00-CODVTHEGAME00001-A0100-V0100 (21.77GB unrarred) - supposedly 'game'
High Speed ] UP0002-CUSA24041 00-CODVTHEGAME00001-A0108-V0100 (21.88GB unrarred) - supposedly Update 1.08
High Speed ] UP0002-CUSA24041 00-CODVCONTENT00001-A0000-V0100 (- 3.06GB unrarred) - supposedly DLC
I have installed all 3 on my jailbroken PS4 and it all starts fine but the Campaign is greyed out and it says it is not installed - any ideas? Should I have only installed one of the two larger files and not both?

Subject: Is there a way to download from ahdafsoccer
I've been struggling to download from ahdafsoccer.com using jdownloader or videodownloadhelper.
Anyone found a way to download from that site?

Subject: What is your stance on film piracy as a means for film preservation?
I've been thinking a lot about this recently. I like watching "old" movies and films that weren't filmed and published in Hollywood. It's very difficult to find legal ways to see these movies, however peer-to-peer sites tend to have most of the films I want to watch in extraordinary quality.
It seems the capitalist studio system is not interested in preserving old films, since it doesn't pay well. Therefore, we need another mechanism to make these films accesible to the public. Piracy seems to be the best one at the moment.
I feel like this this topic isn't discussed much in the public sphere. What are your thoughts on this?

To FIFA PC Players:
Hi, anyone interested in fundraising to make our own cloud drive with FIFA Modded faces?
Usually membership costs about 5$-10$ per month. Together we can grab all the faces.
For example 0,25-0,5$ per user?
Merry christmas everyone! :)

Subject: What happened to Snahp.it?
Used to be my most frequented site for megalinks but seems to have completely vanished off the Internet. Found some rumors floating around but was never able to track one down. Same goes for an apparent discord.
I thought the site just went down for maintenance for a while, is the forum dead and gone now?
Subject: (UPDATE) LetMeWatch: A seamless movie/TV streaming experience in a Chrome/Firefox extension!
Hope the holidays have been treating you all well! If not, then hopefully LetMeWatch can help you drown your dilemmas with an endless stream of HD movies and TV shows :’)
Last month, I posted here about LetMeWatch, a browser extension I built that offers seamless, high-quality media streaming at absolutely no cost. I woke up the next morning to so much positive feedback and input from this awesome community that I decided to keep working on/improving LetMeWatch.
As such, I’m pleased to announce the newest iteration of LetMeWatch (@letmewatch.app), available now on all Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, etc) and Mozilla Firefox! I’ll list below the updates made as well as future updates that are in the works (+ approx. timeline):
v1.87 (Current): - Added website for LetMeWatch: letmewatch.app - Includes central download area, background info about LMW, FAQ, donation button, and contacts - LetMeWatch available for Mozilla Firefox at Firefox Add-On Store - LetMeWatch works in Chrome incognito now - 2 additional streaming servers added - LetMeWatch opens w/Alt-M (Win) or Opt-M(Mac) now to avoid shortcut conflicts Planned Updates (+ Approx. Completion Date): - Sports Streaming! (~1/20) - (NFL + NBA first, then others) Make live and past games, stats, highlights available in an additional ‘Sports’ tab in LMW - Genre Selection for TV shows and movies (~12/31) - LMW available for Android devices (as browser extension, ~12/31) - Save watch history across sessions (~12/20) - Localized movie/TV recommendations based on region (~12/31) - Improved native ad-blocking protocols (~2/1) - LMW available for iOS/macOS devices (as Safari extension, ~TBD) - LMW available for Airplay (Chromecast works on Chrome already I think, ~TBD) - LetMeRead: LetMeWatch but for books (~TBD)
That’s all I have for now, but I would love to get feedback from you all, so if you have any inputs on anything at all, please submit them here: https://forms.gle/3T9q94CUATG7Azgv9
Once again, thank you all so much for the support and feedback, it is such a trip to see so many people take interest in and appreciate something I built, and it means the world :’))
