Subject: Seeding copyrighted content in the US
Merry Xmas to everybody.
I have a question regarding the legality of downloading copyrighted content in the US.
I have a VPN server running at my VPS, that is hosted by one of the smaller US providers. I would like to use my torrent client through this VPN, but before I do that I would like to check on how is it with legality of downloading copyrighted content in the US? Normally I'm downloading the movies and technical training videos, so nothing is literally illegal.
Here in Europe are countries (such as Germany) where using the torrent (because of sharing the data) in case of copyrighted content is very punished and a lot of lawyers are hired by movie companies to go after people seeding copyrighted content.
Is there a similar situation in the US, or is there no problem and risk?
Many thanks for sharing your experience.

Subject: How do I pirate Beat Saber for the Index?
I recently got a Valve Index and I'm starting to pirate some games. Everything works just fine, except for Beat Saber. I downloaded various versions but for some reason it just always sends me back to SteamVR home, doesn't even start. Am I doing something wrong?

Subject: VPN turned off while torrenting
So as I was downloading something, I went to sleep. I let my VPN connection on and the download was still running. But when I came to the computer 8 hours later I saw that NordVPN disconnected from the VPN server and now it was downloading without VPN. Luckily I download with just 300-400kb, but I don't know how much he downloaded without my VPN. I'm at 15gb now, 1gb could be downloaded without but it could also be 10. So I wanted to ask you guys how real is the chance that I'll get caught for these few Gigs. I life in Germany btw
Subject: Is there any torrent client that supports I2P network on clearnet?
Just like Vuze & BiglyBT supports I2P network via a plugin.
Is there any other torrent client which supports I2P?
I didn't use Vuze cause it has been abandoned since 2018. I used BiglyBT but that uses way too much RAM on my device.
I don't want to download the whole I2P software to use i2psnark.
If anyone knows please do tell. Thanks.

Subject: Is anyone concerned about Reddit going public via IPO?
This sub goes directly against corporate interests and with corporations being able to soon "invest" in reddit therefore being able influence what reddit can show or promote. This sub would be a prime target to either heavy moderation/change the modus operandi or remove entirely.
Maybe I'm too skeptical but this just seems like a deathknell for subs like this.
