Subject: An actual solution for anyone looking for "real" Japanese literature: Z-Library!
By "real" Japanese literature, I mean books meant for a completely literate adult audience. This means stuff that isn't limited to manga and light novels, stuff that won't hold back on kanji and vocab just because their audience is young. I've seen people on here ask for this stuff, and I've also seen people recommend Z-Library for books in general, but not specifically for Japanese books when people ask for it. And as far as I can tell, most of my weeb sources don't have such literature.
You've got Japanese history books (I'm sure that's gonna be a fun read) and other non-fiction stuff, prize winning novels like コンビニ人間, novels that would eventually become great films like リング and 告白, and even ド根性忍伝, Jiraiya's very first novel from the Naruto universe.
Also smut. A lot of smut, actually.
You just have to set your book language to Japanese. You'll also want to search for Japanese titles for best results.

Subject: Should I sign up for Z-Library for more downloads?
Is Z-Library safe enough for signing up to for more downloads per day? Should I setup a false email?

Subject: How to prevent steam from connecting to the internet?
So, for reasons (which include a friend so i don't want to specify) i need to prevent steam alone from connecting to the internet.
I tried setting rules in the firewall to block the .exes (Steam.exe, steamwebclient.exe and steamservice.exe)
And ports TCP and UDP from 27000 to 27100 as well as steam's service
None of this has worked
Strangest of all is that if i go to the resource monitor, it says that the connection is NOT allowed but is not being restricted, wth
Using Windows 10 btw

Subject: Any trackers with discographies or entire genres in single downloads?
First foray into music, so somewhat unsure as to what’s out there.
Just curious if there are any trackers out there which have a focus on curated discographies of bands, or even entire genres with hundreds to thousands of songs in a single torrent?
This will end up on an iPod, so high quality is appreciated, but not strictly needed. I’m not exactly going to be pumping it through a Pioneer SX-1980 any time soon. Eventually, yes -- that’s my grail deck. But now? Nope.

Subject: Anyone else seen this warning on videos? "digital content fingerprint identification system"
I've noticed recently that certain videos have this message that appears after the usual FBI piracy warning:
It says:
This video is protected by an advanced digital content fingerprint identification system. Any unauthorized uploading of this video to any other websites will be traced and is punishable by law across all jurisdictions worldwide.
I tried searching this message online and came up with zero results. I'm more curious than anything, does anyone happen to know the technical aspects of the "fingerprint identification system" they're using?
I tried opening up the video in MediaInfo and didn't see anything that stood out.

I even went as far as to open the file in a hex editor, but the file headers didn't seem to contain anything outside the ordinary for an MP4 file:

Subject: Anyone know where I can pirate Spider-Man no way home?
What I mean by the title: is there any sort of app (PC, or mobile) that will download all your songs on Spotify when online, and when you go offline you can listen to it and once you go online again, it will download any new songs or whatever? Not sure if what I said makes sense. Thanks in advance.
P.S. If one does not exist, I may code one 👀

I'm asking this Just out of curiosity. I've heard that it has sold some user information to movie companies. But does it matter if users use a VPN and don't sign up?

Is there any way around this? I'm not even trying to pirate anything, I literally just want to be able to use spotify web player while playing games or occasionally screenshot this content I am paying for on a device that I own.

A movie I downloaded came with subs already but it's an mkv file, I want to convert it to mp4 properly because I want to move it to my hard drive and watch it from a TV. How can I convert it to mp4 without losing the subs?

Subject: MRW I'm excited that Eternals dropped early, but it sounds like ass.
…I was hoping that someone here has come across a website that I used to find Japanese pop music. My bookmarks seems to have vanished when I updated my brave browser.
I believe it has other music as well, but never used it for that.
All I remember is that it had an astronaut with a rainbow(ish) splash page or banner.
Any suggestions?
