And is there a difference in quality? In case there's any confusion, I'm not asking the difference between torrents and Blu-ray discs. I'm asking the difference between torrents that say "BrRip", and torrents that say "Blu-Ray". For example, what would be the difference between these?

im trying to figure out whether irc without vpn is fine. in the faq it lists irc as DDL and therefore kind of safer then torrents. im wondering if its centralized why isnt it beeing taken down? is it known who owns the servers? am i better of using a vpn (i dont want to)?

Many Adobe users are on Mac, and now that we spent all our money on Apple Silicon, we need free software.

I know that the megathread features a bunch of them, and a few of them are actually good. Some of them don't even load in the first place, and others offer really really outdated courses. Is there a new place to look for free courses in 2022? Thanks.

I am looking to get my hands on ZBrush, Maya and Substance Painter. I previously attempted to get Zbrush and Maya, but the Zbrush I got seems completely broken and crashes constantly, wheras Maya still asks me to provide a license every time. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could point me to a source, and help me understand how I actually install these softwares correctly. I do have a VPN already. Sorry for the overwhelming amount of ignorance I must be showcasing here but I'd be so grateful if anyone could help! :)
