My brother has a basic lenovo laptop. i3(10th gen), 4 gigs of ram. It came with win 10 home . But after a few months, maybe because of auto update or something the laptop runs really slow. And it takes up almost 80% of the RAM at idle so playing a 1080p video on Youtube has become a tedious job.

I read somewhere that over utilisation of RAM is sometimes a problem with win 10 or higher. I was wondering should I just remove the pre-installed OS and use win 7 pirated copy.

If so, how do I do that? As in where to get it from and how to activate it.

Or did somebody buy them out and turn it into another bullshit link site?

I usually download Pro edition. But which edition do you think is the best for privacy and performance?

As a student, I have some access to some of these norms. But even then, it depends on how many particular ones the University has paid for. Sometimes, a particular norm taught in classes is not available as free to download it's too expensive to afford it on a student budget. Already tried Sci-Hub and Library Genesis, but to no avail.

I have debut screen capture software and been using that for a while to copy streaming movies.

Rented rather than bought a documentary that just came out thinking I could copy it. Bought from apple.

Debut copied a black screen. Saw that the movie needed iTunes 12.10.8 or higher to work and drm removal apps can’t get past that?

1) any other streaming services to avoid because you can’t screen capture or remove their drm?

2) any to favor because they can be recorded?

3) what are your favorite tools for screen capture and/ or remove drm?
