Is it just for me or for everyone? It’s like only 360 or 480 both on the website and in Next PVR. Why is it so low quality? Also I have Nord so I get all the channels and stuff, don’t know if that affects the quality.

Hello, I downloaded this file on my computer a year ago: New.Eden.S01.720p.CRAV.WEBRip.AAC2.0.x264-BTW
And I have a new computer now... But I still have the file. So how do I start seeding this file from another computer?
I added the torrent file on qBittorrent and put the file on the correct folder to start sending it to other people... But the torrent is still stuck at "downloading meta-data". Why? Is there anything I can do to fix this?
My qBittorrent folder is "D:\Downloads"... I created a "New.Eden.S01.720p.CRAV.WEBRip.AAC2.0.x264-BTW" folder, but it didn't work. It worked with all my other files except this one.

Subject: Quality-wise, what’s better? A DVD or an HD streaming version?
For example, the movie Fist Foot Way was only released on DVD but Vudu has an HDX version. Which one is going to have higher quality? Is the HDX version just upsampled DVD or do you think the studio gave them a higher quality source?

I was looking at the front page of 1337x at the trending section and so many of the top torrents are TheMorozko (yellow uploader) and was wondering if he's legit and if this was normal since their profile only has torrents going back a month. Also another user TGxGoodies with a 1 week old torrent history. Tried to find some info but had no luck so asking here if anyone knows or could chime in. Thanks!

Subject: Is Kaspersky Internet Security pirate friendly?
Needed a good pirate friendly AV for my parent's laptop. I've been using ESET for my own laptop for 7+ years and its really pirate friendly, never gave any false positives for games or softwares. But I'm hearing Kaspersky is good too in this regard.
ESET would cost me about 820INR (11 USD) per year while Kaspersky would cost 480INR (6.5 USD) per year.
So is Kaspersky pirate friendly or should I stick with ESET?

What better place to ask, I thought, than this subreddit?
Recently, Linus Sebastian conflated ad blocking with piracy. This sentiment was controversial, in the sense that there were a significant number of people on both sides of the fence. This got me wondering whether there was really a specific, collective definition of piracy that we could all agree on.
Clearly, adblocking can't fall under "piracy" using this definition. However, I wondered whether this was really an issue with Linus and others failing to understand what "piracy" really is or whether the term itself had no concrete, consistent definition. Piracy is most closely tied to the legal definition of copyright infringement—the unlawful copying, distribution, performance, or creating derivative works of copyrighted works without the permission of the copyright holder. I'm sure we can all agree that copying and distributing copyrighted films without the permission of the rights holder is piracy. Streaming televised sports live without the copyright holder's permission is also piracy.
But is circumventing copy protection such as Denuvo or Widevine piracy? It's not copyright infringement—it's classified as circumvention under the DMCA. However, there are several circumstances where circumventing copy protection is legal. Presumably legally circumventing DRM does not constitute piracy.
A common type of copyright infringement is unauthorized translations, particularly with regard to Japanese media—anime, manga, light novels, and visual novels. A surprising number of people don't think this is even illegal, to say nothing about whether it qualifies as "piracy". In the '90s, when so few anime was legally localized in the west, the majority of translations available were from fans who knew Japanese distributing their translations (often called "fansubs") via VHS tapes. It's common to make the argument that translation patches for VNs forces users to buy the game before they can use it, so it can't be illegal. But this is copyright infringement, because translation qualifies as a derivative work.
It's why BT gets Cease & Desist letters from publishers when a company in the west acquires a license that allows them to translate and distribute the author's work. Conversely, however, some authors, such as Ryukishi07, are grateful to fans for bringing their work to an audience that wouldn't have been able to experience it otherwise. I wonder how many people consider fan translations to be piracy.
Another type of pervasive copyright infringement is unauthorized fanfiction. All fanfiction is by its nature derivative, and therefore unlawful except in instances where the author of the parent work permits it. Is this piracy? If it is, it puts this 2002 open letter pleading for users not to "pirate" their work in a whole new light, considering that the original copyright holder of the parent work is the entity that owns all of these derivative works. Is everybody who reads unauthorized fanfiction a pirate?
As a final example, a significant number of people don't consider it to be "piracy" when somebody redistributes copyrighted work that is free of charge, even if it doesn't permit redistribution. For example, redistributing Doki Doki Literature Club is copyright infringement, even though the game doesn't cost anything to download officially, because they have not given you permission in the license to redistribute it. It is, however, legal to redistribute the Arch Linux ISO and GIMP because the GPL gives users this freedom.
So, what is piracy, really? And what is it not?

Subject: How do you get rid of privacy policy agreements on a browser?
Hey guys! EU based pirate here, don't know if this is the proper sub, but did you manage to get rid once and for all of the shitty spamming privacy policy cookies? Like a plugin that automatically rejects everything or an alternative browser, Both on laptop and smartphone. It really drive me crazy the fact that a regulamentation has been transformed, on purpose, in a tricky pop up that hinder the usage of every fcking page on the web.

Subject: Help with installing workshop mods for Tabletop simulator
Basically, I have a problem with mods on the tabletop simulator. When I download this one https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2143991933 and put it in the workshop folder an error occurs upon starting the game with the mod up. If someone has any idea how to fix this that would be great. One more thing the same error pops up with any mod I have tested till now.
