TLDR: •Is there anywhere I can legally buy/download 4k HDR movies and/or lossless music in the best quality possible where I would also truly own them and wouldn't be at risk of loosing my media because the platform I got them through deleted them from it's own servers?

•If so, how does the media's quality compare to the potential quality of pirated material through the means currently available? (Would a movie/song bought/downloaded on such a server be better, worst or the same quality as the best available pirated rips of the same thing? How good is video/audio ripping technology and the quality it can potentially provide compared to that of digital downloads currently?

So I've recently started converting my entire digital media library to high quality 4k HDR / lossless FLAC video/audio and I'm wondering what's the best way to go about doing this to get the best quality content possible.

My main concern other than quality is that I want to own all my media. I wouldn't mind buying it legally if it'd assure me better quality content but to my understanding any platform that allowas you to "buy" and "own" digital media also reserves the right to pull content should they run into any legal troubles of their own which is a hard no for me.

The other issue is that I have a dual-core computer that isn't powerful enough to play 4k video, so my options seem to be either get an SSD, upload all my 4k downloads to it and run that right from my 4k HDR10 TV or to find a platform that lets me buy 4k HDR movies and truly own them to where they wouldn't ever have the option to just delete them from my library themselves...

I use a VPN whenever I download the pirated films from the web, but I upload them to my server which streams it off Plex. Would my isp notice me streaming my pirated movies from Plex? My server does not have a VPN but it isn’t downloading off the web just streaming it to Plex.

And I even download for other people since they have either littlr or no internet connection. But when it cones to pirating Patreon content, it is likke I am targeting one individual or smalm grouos of content creators. I even don't like to listen about websites like kemono(dot)party or stuff.

Hey, I was just wondering if someone has a way of keeping up with new shows, episodes, releases. I missed the release of the last 'it's always sunny in Philadelphia' season for example. Or the start of season two of 'raised by wolves'. Season two of righteous gemstones is almost finished, and I didn't even realize.
