I saw in a post a year ago that this had occured then too. Is this permenant or do they occasionally have times where it's open and times where it's closed? Any news on what's going on?

Subject: Piracy is a moral obligation because it leads to
This is the first time i've wrote something on this sub but i have been romping with the idea that, for the most part, makes no sense within the "common sense's" epistemic domain. The main idea is that piracy is a moral obligation for the most people because it is by itself an opposition to the big corporations, piracy is, at its very core, a cultural resistance activity against the money makers that extract surplus from mostly low paid workforce. And why it is? I'll try to elaborate as best as I can and i ask for a little patience here bc english is not my main language (Taco speaker here).
First lemme tell you my story when i arrived at this conclusion: At the beginning of the quarantine i started to work at a local newspaper as an editor and eventho they promissed me a little more i ended receiving minimum wage (that is 150 MX pesos a day or 3600 a month, roughly 170 USD a month!!!) and by that time a friend of mine owed me some bucks and gave me a nintendo switch instead; i was stoked with the tiny little console and that mario kart 8 was kinda fun. But the amusement stopped the time i wanted to buy some games for my new (but used) console and the news were very striking and heartrending for me: the games on the online and retails cost like 40-60$ USD, gotta admit that it was a very very very bitter experience knowing that i have to give one third of my hard earned money to play and distract myself from the fatigues of the daily shores and works. I'll have to tell you that by that time i started to live by myself aswell, so buying games were out of consideration.
My meditations on the morality of piracy orbitates around that very single and bitter experience, because it taught myself that my only worth as a human being is that the corporations and employers can substract from me, and only that. I have to give up one third of my monthly work to purchase a video game (a cultural product of my society) and enjoy it, but no, i cannot because if i did i should give up tons of money. Being said that, video game industry is also elitist because it excludes people with less resources to experience those socio-cultural products.
Think of videogames, music or books as the same: nobody should be deprived from the enjoyment of those oeuvres and the moment that those cultural products become subsumed by the capitalist logic you no longer have the right to enjoy them, you must give something in exchange...but it will cost you tons of money. This is when it comes the resistance discourse that makes us humans, we should strive and resist in order to become humans because if we don't we are no different from the cattle who are ensalved by the solely purpose of generating capital; if a human don't resist it is a gray, lifeless and everproductive piece of meat, it becomes a livestock.
I live in a country where big capital extracts tons of value and leaves too many problems that disrupts the endogenous capacity to amass capital, i live in a country where a whole bunch of people get really underpaid. So we must endure and reject their exploitative logic by pirating all the sweet sweet things we want to enjoy because no human being should be deprived from experiencing the excitement and joyfulness that vidya give to us, we must apropiate our own right to be humans and experience culture...culture should not be preferential, it ought to be a right.
Again, sorry for my bad english, i just wanted to expel my thoughts about piracy and give some insights to people that maybe wanted a more articulated justification about the matter or to open some discussion about the ethics of piracy.

Subject: SunRiseZone on 1337x is spreading malware!
I was trying to install Internet Download Manager and I downloaded the latest release by SunRiseZone from 1337x.to, infohash D018C336E113D22E14D4E66489857C23D03200E3. When I ran the installer it popped positive for some spyware. I checked the file and it was missing a digital signature, which is strange because it's not supposed to be pre-cracked.
I quarantined the file and downloaded the actual installer from IDM's website, and it was digitally signed, had a different size, and had a different icon. I checked the torrent listing and suspiciously the only virus scan linked was for the crack tool, which was clean as it's open source.
I uploaded the bundled installer to VirusTotal, and it has a massive 33/66 detection ratio, and connects to Telegram's API, downloads from DropBox, connects to an IP grabber, and steals files from your browser's cookies and history.
IF YOU HAVE RAN ANY SUNRISEZONE INSTALLERS, RUN A VIRUS SCAN ON YOUR PC!
Here's the link to the VirusTotal results, I would recommend checking the "behavior" page: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/c0b8474a89b05da56069d00e6b8dff9d12b2cf205ebcd01c035608e8af20f555/

Subject: Thank you to everyone in this community who helped make my life so much easier
This community is great. Saved me TONS of money, and even my family, friends, and gf love it.
They thought I was crazy for trying to pirate everything. I'd always hear "it's on Disney plus, My sister has an account we can use" or "is that show on _?"
They complained how much streaming services wanted to charge them now, like netflix and their BS.
Next thing you know, I'm getting everything they want, (sometimes) faster, higher quality, in one spot, and MUCH cheaper.
Now, none of us can't live without Plex. I'm especially grateful for not only media, but textbook and video game piracy.
Thank you to this community for making my like much much cheaper, easier, hassle free, and getting me cool points with pretty much everyone in my life. Y'all are the best. I try to support when I can but money is tight.
Subject: Download video from website (netacad)
For school I need to use NetAcad and I would love to have the videos also offline. So I did some search and I found out that those video are shown via a lot of short (like 3 secs) .ts file
And I can't actually find the ".m3u8" file so I can use the usual command
ffmpeg -protocol_whitelist file,http,https,tcp,tls,crypto -i namefile.m3u8 -c copy -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc output.mp4
How can I actually solve this? In the past I did a script with python for something similar (like a lot of pngs and paste everything into a PDF) but I don't really know how to do with the cookies stuff and how to "paste" all the .ts file into 1 .mp4 file
