Subject: Is there a recommended adapter for VGA output from the main board (direct video)?
I've heard that it's not easy to tell which adapters are suitable for proper video out. I don't have any expansion boards and would prefer to keep my budget for expansions lower if possible. What HDMI-VGA adapters are recommended, and do any have audio out?

I updated and don't see the effects under filters. Not sure how to get it or activate it.

Subject: I've decided to ditch Analogue.co and go full on MiSTer.
I like the Analogue products but now that I have a fully loaded MiSTer I feel there is really no reason to own my MegaSG, SuperNT and DAC.
The Cores that cover the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo are just as good and the responsiveness with the SNAC adapter feels.. better with my original controllers.
The icing on the cake for me is the ability to customize the filters. I'm one of those who don't really like super sharp pixels in their games. I think with the right amount of blending and softness that the pixel art often gets more detailed and you can see this when using the right CRT.
Anyways just wanted to say a huge Thank You to all those responsible for this wonderful project. I will definitely be focusing on helping spread the word because I want to see where this goes in the future.
If you want to see my filter settings here they are.

General LPF/LPF 20Khz 3rd -> LPF 20Khz 3rd CH 1db
This is kind of what I've been using across the board and it is incredible looking. Like I said I think it helps add "more" detail than you would just get with super sharp pixels.
Anyhow what have you guys done? Have you left behind your Analogue gear or consoles? And Why?
