Subject: Can't get Antonio Villena's VGA to Composite adapter working on MiSTer
I've already put composite_sync=1 in my Mister.ini file, disabled, SOG and power VGA connector, pin 9, to 5V. Most of the time now, I get no display. When I did get the main menu to come up, as soon as I tried to load a Core, it would split the screen in half and show a double image in single colors (green or red). I'd have to reboot. Now, I get no display from the adapter no matter what settings I try to change. Appreciate any help.

Subject: Best monitor stand for vertical arcade games on the MiSTer?
I recently purchased this monitor stand so that I can rotate my monitor vertically and enjoy vertical arcade and handheld games without a loss of screen space and relative resolution.
However, my 19" Sony KLV-S19A10 monitor includes speakers that are built into the frame, and the weight of the speakers tilts the monitor back into the horizontal position (or at least, diagonally crooked) whenever I rotate it for vertical playing. There is no mechanism on the stand to "lock" the orientation into a vertical setting, so I have a thick block of styrofoam which I place under one corner of the monitor in its vertical rotation, to keep it from tilting back toward horizontal.
I purchased the monitor for it's compact size, built-in speakers, and numerous connection types. With those connections, I can support my NES (RF), N64 (Composite), Wii (Component), MiSTer (PC), and Nintendo Switch (HDMI).
Is there a stand that anyone can recommend, which I can physically "lock" the monitor into the vertical or horizontal position?
Or is there a speaker-less monitor with the same variety of connections (and similar size), which won't try to rotate back to horizontal once rotated vertical?

Subject: The picture quality on LCD with CRT simulation, shadow mask and and scanlines using MiSTer is now better than my original Sony Trinitron. Impressive progress!
Hi All I’ve just had a go at adding PlayStation to my mister. I’ve added the daily unstable build as well as the bios and some roms.
I get no sound at all, even on the bios screen. Is there a setting I am missing? I’m using audio out of optical from analogue I/o board and video (working fine) is from hdmi out. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Looking to put together a usb encoder similar to https://github.com/MickGyver/DaemonBite-Arcade-Encoder. As far as core support do they prefer 1 usb hid device with all the buttons of both players or 2 separate hid devices. And if separate do they have to be on 2 different arduinos? Just comparing Pro Micro to Leonardo with that last question.

I plan to use my MiSTer in an arcade cabinet. I'm not going to use any console games, just arcade games. I am particularly interested in Capcom and Neo Geo games. I got SNES games working fine as a test, but again, console games aren't what I'm going for. I haven't had any luck with arcade games. I downloaded Jotego's CPS2 pack. I have the .mra files in the _Arcade folder. Within this folder is the cores folder, where I have the .rbf files. Also within the _Arcade folder is the mame folder, where I have the zipped ROMs mvsc.zip and megaman2.zip. I am just testing out these two to start with.
However, when I go to launch a game, it says it's building the ROM but then I get stuck on a black screen with nothing happening. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is?

Subject: Has anybody tried ordering a DE 10 Nano off of allicdata.com?
I've been looking to set up a mister but can't find a de 10 nano anywhere. I eventually searched using the manufacturer part number rather than the product name and came across this https://m.allicdata.com/products/p0496-nd/5457522.html. It seems to be a parts supplier out of Honk Kong that claims to have about 900 de 10 nanos in stock.
The site seems legit just due to the sheer amount of product they seem to stock and how obscure a lot of it is would make for a bad scam. The only thing that throws me off is that the price is half of what I've seen it anywhere, and their account making process what weird because it didn't send me any kind of confirmation or anything. I started to go through their ordering process and they say they do international shipping but don't give any way to select country in the address and it just felt off so I didn't order.
I don't know, anybody familiar with this seller or had luck ordering from them? Or should I just hold out and wait for more well known sellers to get stock again?

Subject: Is the Analog I/O board supposed to cone with a jumper cap for the VGA connector?
Trying to get Antonio Villena’s composite adapter to work. The site says to power the vga port to 5v with the jumper cap but mine doesn’t seem to have one. Am I missing something? If I need to get one, anyone know where they sell them in the right size?
