Hi

So I got my kit from eBay and I don't get the DC inputs.

The typical Mister has 3 boards with their own DC input. My kit came with a DC splitter (2 DC). It also came with a DC to DC cable that connects the DE10 and the USB board. That only leaves 1 DC on the digital IO.

So what is the point of the dual DC splitter?

I also plan to get an analog board (seller said it was analog but whatever), will it be able to use the 2 DC outs from the splitter?

Can't figure out how to get fast forward working. I have it mapped correctly to a key, but it doesn't do anything.

Since I don't have a USB dongle for any of my 8bitdo controllers (they all have the native console dongle), I want to connect my N30 2.4g controller my mister via usb cable. However, the mister simply doesn't detect the controller at all. What should I do to get this to work? Or do I need to order a new controller and/or usb dongle?

When I try to play any Neogeo games, using AES via UniBios, all I get is a white screen. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a suitable case for my MiSTer. I have used several of the acrylic sandwich style cases back when I was big on raspberry pis and I want something more substantial for my MiSTer. I really like the look of the aluminum cases from misteraddons.com, but they have been out of stock as long as I've been involved in this project. I've found some cases on ebay that I think look good, but they are not compatible with my USB hub- they require some kind of hub board that has a USB-A power input where as I have the barrel jack style USB hub.

Basically, I'm looking for case recommendations for a MiSTer setup:

Analog I/O v6.1 (from LegacyPixels.com)

USB Hub 2.1 (from LegacyPixels.com)

In Stock somewhere

and I'd like something that with full coverage preferably metal.

Well it seems that i'm missing something...

I'm trying to connect MiSTer to a Panasonic CRT using a generic HDMI to VGA/YPbPr converter, using the component input

At first i just plugged it in expecting the converter do the job, but got no image at all. Then i enabled direct video, composite sync and ypbpr on the ini file. Got image but no color, just kind of color ghosting/noise. Also tried changing the video mode to 640x480 and hdmi_limited modes but no luck.

So you guys think i'm missing something or my converter is ass? lol Any help or advice is appreciated!

Hi all,

I have a MiSTer Multisystem (https://rmcretro.store/multisystem-board-only/) and I have a set up where I had either:

• CRT TV over SCART (regular orientation)
• HDMI

or

• VGA Monitor (TATE orientation)
• HDMI

And I had it working fine with an alt ini to switch between the 2 setups

I did an update all about a week or 2 ago (using HDMI) and everything looked fine, but yesterday when I tried to use the CRT monitor I just got a blank screen. There is sound through the CRT however (I started a game by checking my HDMI monitor).
Now the weird bit - if I turn on the VGA monitor I then get a picture on the CRT TV, even though there is nothing being output over VGA (as vga_scaler=0 in this setup).
Any ideas ??

Sorry if this is against the rules. Seeing as how used misters are going for upwards of $700 on eBay, does anyone know if stock is expected to be replenished at any of the usual suspects? Looking to buy a second unit to throw into my arcade 1up

So I have an Antonio villena slim io board from 2020. There's no sog switch on the board. I tried creating an sog circuit with a 360ohm resistor and a 1n4148 diode on the vga/component cable I made. Thus resulted in no signal. If I remove the resistor and leave just the diode, I get a super green, super fast rolling picture. I've been trying different things all day. Can anyone give any insight? I know official hardware is recommended, but I've had this fsetup for a while.

To clarify the circuit I made was pin13 ->anode side of diode->cathode side of diode->330ohm resistor->pin2

I have looked all over, but can not find anything.....

I want to add monitor bezels to certain cores in Mister. I saw a Youtube video of a guy testing games on the A486 core, and he had a Compaq monitor and a pair of speakers. Looked really nice. Another video I saw had a guy with a different core, (forget which one) with a Panasonic monitor.

Like I said, searched all over, and am turning up empty. Thanks for any help.
