To those who have bought the ironclad board, how long did it take to ship from the time you received the tracking number? I got a tracking number, but there have been no updates for 2.5 months. I understand shipping from Spain to USA takes a while and it’s getting close to the holiday season. At what point should I be contacting the seller?

So I'm trying to use the arduino GPIOs on the DE10 board, which are accessed by the FPGA, and interact with them from Linux.
I'm new to intel fpga, I've only ever used Xilinx, and I saw this could be done with Qsys. However it seems the Mister Cores never use Qsys files. So I really have no clue on how to configure these GPIOs and bridge them to Linux.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Also just so you know, I'm trying to dump roms from the neo geo cartridges and generate .neo files.

Has any one successfully integrated (WiFi-enabled) Retro Achievements into their build? Is this even possible with hardware emulation?

Subject: How do I hook up arcade buttons/joystick and speakers?
So I’m looking to turn my mister into an arcade machine by putting it into an arcade cabinet, one of those pre cut flat pack ones rather than an existing jamma machine.
Something like this - https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/2-player-sit-down-arcade-cabinet-flat-pack-kit-black.html
However, if I buy the associated trackballs, buttons and joysticks etc how do I connect them into the mister?
I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere, although my Google fu is failing me right now and I may be misremembering given I can’t find it, a little io connector board or similar that I got the impression you could wire all these into but I can’t find it now.
Anyone got any ideas?
Also bonus points if you can hook me up with a forum post or similar where someone shares how they did this so I can read up on it.
Many thanks

I followed the MiSTercade manual and quick start guide in exacting detail when setting this up, but I assume they probably left out some steps. Part of the setup included copying over config and input mappings files. I installed this in my JAMMA arcade cabinet. It has a Player 1 and Player 2 button as well as a red and yellow button, and the coin door buttons. It also has a joystick.
ONLY the joystick actually works with the MiSTercade. I can see that the input files are indeed located in "/config/input", but I guess the files don't do anything on their own.
To get the obvious questions out of the way first:
Yes, I ran the update_all script, and the MiSTercade specific updater scripts.
Yes, the arcade cores themselves actually launch successfully
Yes, I know that the cabinet controls are wired correctly because I have tested with other arcade PCBs.
I don't know what to do that I haven't tried already. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do any of the official add-on sellers (misteraddons.com etc.) offer Black Friday deals? I have the DE10-Nano on order and would like to start getting some add-ons. Wondering if I should wait a few days for possible discounts.

I'm in the 4th batch for the Ironclad Plus and it says 82% are shipped. Curious if anyone else has gotten an Ironclad and if so, did you get any notification of yours being shipped?

Subject: MISTer - ruining memories of old games, for the better
I have always been huge into video games. I own every console, have modified them all to play every rom and yada yada.
I decided a MISTer could help me and be a one stop shop, no need to HDMI any of my systems, no need to buy switchers or switch out cable manually. Just an elegant solution.
So, I was playing Tony hawk 1 and 4 on the psx core late last night to test it with the snax adapter and it seems like it wasn't getting my button presses I was getting agitated thinking that the mister may have some issues to work out, and maybe I wasted money on the snax adapter and the issue may never get fixed if I want to use the snax.
Today I Fired up my og PS1, and to my surprise the PS1 tony hawks were just some rough games lol
The mister was doing exactly what is was supposed to and I just suck at the original Tony hawk games....especially after running through the new remake
Tldr - no the mister isn't wrong, your memories are wrong lol

I got my decapod today, but I'm having an issue with it. Basically the genesis controller inputs just aren't working correctly. Most buttons don't respond at all and the ones that do don't do the wrong action. I've tried with original controllers and my m30 and the result is always the same. The incorrect inputs are always the same, so it's not just random or anything. I've tested snes and nes and both of those work perfectly.
Has anybody else gotten this accessory and had similar issues? Is there some common user error issue I should double check? Is it a known issue with a fix or does it sound like I just got a faulty unit? Mine is the snac/db9 version not the usb version.
