Subject: Where to find a KickWork image (or a Kickstart floppy)?
Hi there! I just got an Amiga 1000 that happens to be missing the Kickstart disk; I have a Gotek floppy emulator, and from what I can tell, I can have it automatically boot the combination Kickstart + Workbench image from that drive to get it going. Unfortunately, the person who makes the KickWork disk seems to have passed away recently. Does anyone know where I might be able to find an image for KickWork? Happy to pay for it. Failing that, if someone could tell me how to get a copy of the Kickstart disk itself, that would be amazing :). I live in the SF Bay Area, so maybe someone with an Amiga locally could make one for me, or I could pay to have one shipped.
Thank you so much!

Subject: Captain Nemo game (demo) from "The World of Commodore" expo in Cologne 1993 - what happened?
I vaguely remember seeing a very cool game demo at the World of Commodore expo in Cologne 1993. Some Amiga bigwig did a keynote and showed off the early beginnings of a floppy-based Amiga game with a Captain Nemo theme of sorts. Looked technically brilliant and caused a lot of excitement in the crowd.
Any idea what this game was and what happened to it? Thanks!
Of course Commodore declared bankruptcy in 1994, so this might have bit the dust.

Hey,
So I downloaded some data files for Earl Weaver Baseball here (http://cd.textfiles.com/maxx/tothemaxpcg/SPORTS/.index.html). These files are mostly .DATs. The game requires me to Mount these in a drive in order to access them, however this appears to not be possible as whenever I mount the .zip in FS-UAE the files aren’t recognized by the program (as I assume is because they aren’t .adf’s). Is there anything I can look into to solve this issue?
Funny enough, this same exact question for this same exact game was posted 5-6 years ago.

What do you guys think about Coffin? I have an a600 on the way with a vampire and it looks like a neat thing to use on the amiga.
Any reason I would NOT want to use it? I do not care if I have the "old school" OS look/feel on my amiga as long as compatibility is not sacrificed.

In case you haven’t heard of a ‘game jam’ its a creative event where people make games in a limited amount of time, all around a particular theme, and share their creations at the end.
This game jam ends at the end of January and the theme is ‘ports’ (a game from another system ported over to the amiga) so when it is done the Amiga community will probably have some fantastic new games.
The community is friendly and encouraging if you have ever been interested in writing an Amiga game this might provide the motivation and community to help you accomplish it.

Hi everybody,
sorry if it's a dumb question. I have an Amiga 500 and I need a new PSU for it.
I read that there are some prebuilt PSUs like the ones from amigastore.eu or electroware.pl, and people that are using normal PC ATX/SFX PSU with a special cable.
What do you reccomend? I live in Italy.
Thanks

Subject: Beavers - ending - a colorful game, but with a quite confusing gameplay..and that beaver is very slippery when it comes to jump on little platforms :D
Subject: Alien Breed, Speedball 2, Turrican 2... Did the Amiga have the best video game music in the '90s? I would say... YES! Strap in and listen to some of the machines best tracks, in the latest Arcade Attack podcast; Amiga POWER!!! Do you agree with our choices?!
Even I love my old and original Amiga hardware, sometimes I also play with my Raspberry Pi and some emulation. There are a lot projects out there, where they emulate the good old Amiga. But I think, until now, there's no way to plug an original floppy (via a converter) or a newer floppy to the RPi, to use original Amiga disks to load games from floppy (not using adf). Isn't there really a chance to do that? And if so, why?
Cheers

Subject: PC keyboard used on Amiga with USB adapter: key binding software for workbench?
SO I got a USB adapter to use a standard USB keyboard. This keyboard has not 2 Amiga/Windows keys but just one on the left, while on the right it has a FN button and a "menu: button, that simulate the right mouse click.
When I use this keyboard on an Amiga, is there a way to use the FN and menu buttons? Is there any software on the Amiga that remap buttons?

I've recently listened to the back issue of the Retro Hour podcast about the 2017 film Viva Amiga:

I can't seem to find the film anywhere to stream in the UK currently. Does anyone know what's going on here and if I have any option to watch this other than to buy a second-hand DVD or Blue Ray?
