I've got both up and running now (and weirdly the only issue seems to be the crack I have of Knightmare - which I had boxed 30 years or so ago - seems a little temperamental and randomly drops out).

In short are there any preferred quick starter strats? (Just to make life easier e.g. I know the Jonathan name trick with Captive for an easy stats max boost). Found a playthrough of Knightmare online but it had no commentary and they were though level 1 in about 30 minutes (so have got lost real quick). So far I'd say I'm at the 2 hour point and about half way through Level 1. Wonderfully savage game though 👏

I'm porting MD-MSU from Genesis Plus GX by the way.

It's possible I already have what I need, but want to make sure I'm not missing anything that could make my experience better. I've been trying to research accelerators but their benefit for games is still not clear to me (and they may even introduce compatibility issues). And I'm open to a RAM upgrade, but are there Amiga games that recognize over 1mb? In my research I've found that extra RAM is recommended for WHDLoad (which I don't have... but would consider if it offers advantages over my current setup) but still not sure if regular A500 games would benefit.

So just looking to see what other upgrades I should look for that would offer a tangible benefit for games (either making more games playable, making games run better, or imporoving load times). Thanks!

This is probably a silly Gotek question, sorry but I just started using it and couldn't find an answer on the web.

So I have a CF card as harddisk. Do I have to unplug the USB stick from Gotek drive whenever I want to boot from HD? I just couldn't find a way to bypass Gotek screen when a USB stick is plugged in.

I'm planning to make a Video showcasing some Amiga software and would want to have a collection as full as possible of titles in Spanish and Workbench in Spanish(I know it exists, but haven't seen any ROMs for it).

Never had an A500 before so not sure if this is normal or not. My A1200 dims the power LED when audio filter goes off, or when it gurus. This A500 just shuts it all off which is confusing.

So how is this supposed to behave?

Has anyone had issues hearing back from amigastore.eu after purchasing stuff? I've emailed them 3 times and haven't heard back. Am considering doing a paypal chargeback as I haven't received any of my orders and the tracking hasnt updated in 3 weeks.

Are they just not a great place to buy from?
