Subject: What Amiga game is playable and enjoyable today even if you have never played it before?
I've noticed that I enjoy games that I have childhood memories with and I was wondering if there are Amiga games that has aged so well that can be picked up and played today as a brand new game?

Subject: Any one seen an Amiga 2000 Keyboard with 9 Pin D (same type mouse port) ?
When i was going through my dads stuff (as he passed away recently) i seen an Amiga 2000 keyboard ( at first i thought it was the one for his A4000 but it's not as i found that too).
The strange thing is ( I know Amiga 2000's used to have a bigger 5 pin din (round) and the Amiga 4000 has a smaller ps2 type connector.
Now this one has a 9 pin D-SUB plug that would plug into the mouse or joystick socket, i know its serial but i can't think of a reason to run an Amiga keyboard through a plug like that.
Can anyone shed any light on the matter?
Thanks in advance

Subject: Amiga 500 keyboard flexible or hard membrane replacement options
Two vertical rows on my A500 keyboard have stopped working, and despite hours of tracing with the multimeter I can't find the break. All of my spare keyboards have issues, so rather than trying to swap a membrane over, perhaps it's just easier to just buy a brand new one.
There appear to be two type available: The standard flexible membrane, and a hard membrane.
Has anyone had experience with the hard membrane? Are there any advantages (I assume durability) or disadvantages over the standard flexible membrane?

Subject: Building a hybrid A1200 in a A100 case - trying to make 3d printed files to hold the various parts inside it
Got a great deal with a gentlemen that had a ton of Amiga related stuff in his attic. His father passed and he sold to me his belonging; and among other retro-items there were a couple of Amiga. Sadly neither is working; the A2000 was totally rusted (both the case and the motherboard), so I just scraped it and threw away the rest; but there was also an A1000; which also was rusted inside but the case is in good shape.
Since I have a spare A1200 board that I just kept in case my main board would fail, I thought I could transplant the A1200 board in the A1000. It does fit (of course you will lose the ability to use PCMCIA but I don't really care about it), and the ports need to be re-located; but it is doable.
I started by removing a couple of pegs on the bottom part of the case, where some of the screws would go, since the A1000 has holes for those pegs but they won't work with the A1200 board. I used an acrylic sheet to screw the A1200 board on it and then used screws to secure the sheet to the A1000 case; I had to remove the floppy tray of course, but it sits nicely. Power is using the original connector that goes inside a small ATX PSU; I also added a small PC fan to blow some air on the PSU, even if the overall power drawn is not really that much.
Got few extensions to carry outside of the case the ports for video, power, audio and mouse; and with an adapter I can use an external PS2 keyboard; so all my IO are OK. The only problem is the joystick but I don't mind to have it coming off from the rear instead than from the right side, where the DB9 ports are on the A1000.
Now, I am going for phase 2: which is to make the build permanent and solid, adding also the floppy back and integrating the Gotek drive and a slim cd rom drive. Although there is no way to put those in the case without make some sort of contraption that would be able to hold the board, the floppy on top of the A1200 board to match the original floppy location, and some sort of stand to hold the cd rom and the gotek board (which seems to fit perfectly where the A1000 expansion slot is; the cover is perfect to hide the cd rom and the usb connector for the gotek; same for the buttons to control the gotek and the lcd screen of the gotek. There is even space to put a couple of LED for the HDD, since the A1000 has only the left LED for power and the right one for floppy activity.
Does anyone know if there is anyone that could make 3d files that could be printed, to basically support a gotek, a A1200 board, the original floppy and a CD rom inside the A1000 case? I started to learn CAD but I do not have a 3d printer myself, so the only thing I can do is to submit the 3d print on demand to a company and wait for the parts to arrive; although since mistakes are made, clearly it is not a sustainable workflow. If anyone could help it would be really appreciated; even if it is just some guidance about how to get this project going.
I did all the connectivity and electronics part, but I am stuck now at the 3d design part :(

Subject: Did anyone else notice that substituting a player in in one of the SWOS versions made them run faster vs having them on the pitch from the start?
My cousin and I as kids discovered that if we put the players directly in, they run normally, but if we were to put our great strikers on the bench and sub them in at the beginning of the game they would run faster.
This seemed not to be the case in all SWOS versions but it was certainly the case in one of them (I guess 94).
Did anyone else experience this? Is this a known thing?
