Which A2000 board has the surface mount caps and not the ones with the legs that go through the board? I see the pictures of it being a blue board but all the blue boards I have seen online has the holes for the Caps. :(

Does anyone know where I can get one of these?

I found some guy on Amibay who was going to sell me one (from the EU...) but wanted me to send him some money through PayPal to some random email address; it was a dodgy deal that I said NO.
I still haven't found anyone selling one. :(
Any suggestions?

![]() | Hello dear Amiga community! I'm having an hard time understanding how to fix this old Quickshot, which is the only joystick I have form this old Amiga 600 I'm restoring. Specifically, I cannot grasp how the fire button pads are supposed to work: when the button is pressed, the plastic protrusion behind it pushes the circular metal pad, but that does not generate any output. I've checked both the wires and the traces with a multimeter and they seem to be fine. I've also tested the joystick port by connecting the mouse and right-clicking in-game, which worked fine. Got any suggestions? Edit: Sorry for the confusing title! here are some images: [link] [comments] |
Subject: Any love for ambitious open-world city RPG Legends of Valour?
following my recent post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/amiga/comments/ys9ez7/a600_mouse_problem/
I have now (temporarily) accepted that my mouse port is dead on my A600 and I'm using a serial mouse setup now, as described here:
https://github.com/mborjesson/USB-Mouse-to-Serial
Unfortunately on the Amiga side I've only been able to get it running with this driver:
http://aminet.net/package/driver/input/SerialMouseD
the thing is, this is a shareware that quits after a few minutes. I even contacted the author, he said, he couldn't help me as he doesn't have these old files anymore.
Does anybody have a full version of this? I wouldn't consider sharing that piracy under these circumstances.
Of course any alternative driver configuration would as well be appreciated!

Hello, I hope you all can help me. I'm looking for an old space game. I think I played it on Windows 95 or 98
It had a hex type of playing field. You would start on a world that you had to develop a little Sim city style. If you would click on your world you would see the entire world and on the left you saw 2 rows of space where you could build defence weppons. On the world you could put factories and other things.
Zooming out of the world you would see the galaxy. Some world's had more resources then others and you could develop them. You could build spaceships that would be a shadow in the space of your world. If time progressed it would slowly become visible. When finished you could bring it out of your world and explore.
Outside of your own galaxy there where other species. Some friendly and some hostile that could attack you with their ships to conquer your world's.
On the right top you saw the current year and you could forward time slow or fast.
It's not deadlock, space empire or star general but they do give the feeling of the game

I’ve just got my Amiga 500 out of storage and trying to get it running again. Removed the ram expansion that had corroded, got a new scart lead and scart/hdmi adapter. Motherboard looks to be in good shape.
Batman the movie booted first time but there is a tinge to the screen. Boot screen is definitely a shade of blue rather than white. Any suggestions where to look next for a fault?
Cheers
