Subject: I made an EMG sensor that allows me to control a video game (Robocop) with no joystick, gamepad, or mouse, by connecting my muscles directly to the computer via surface electrodes. This is only a prototype, so at the moment I can only shoot, but the results are promising.
Subject: How can I make a document in Amiga Workbench 1.3?
I’m trying to make a document that I can write in but there don’t seem to be any guides on it. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everybody,
I just placed an order for the Robert Smith DrawBridge PCB for reading Amiga floppy drives.
Can anyone tell me a floppy drive model that works and is availabile in Europe on Amazon?
Thank you!

I have been enjoying reading about all the adds ons, accelerators, (Terrible Fire, ACA, Vampire, Buffee, etc). I miss my old Amiga 2000, with a GVP 040/33 with 16 Megs of RAM and a 750 Meg SCSI HD and now I forget the graphics card I had. Retina, but then something else. Ah those were the days.
But I noticed something I am curious about. There is much talk of PIO modes on IDE, and performance of the IDE interfaces. But why is no one implementing SATA instead of parellel ATA?
Many fewer pins for connections, few traces on the board.
Obviously there is a good reason for this decision, but I am curious what it might be.

Subject: First mock-up of the Amiga native Mastodon #client, running on AmigaOS 3
For the first time, amiga-news.de has organized an Advent Calendar:
https://www.amiga-news.de/en/news/AN-2022-11-00129-EN.html
We asked developers and programmers for a little anecdote. So from December 1st until Christmas we read in sometimes shorter, sometimes longer texts about their Amiga beginnings, first successes and experiences from their creative wealth and little incidents to smile or even to think about.
A big thank you to all who participated and a cordial invitation to all interested Amiga friends!
Today, the third door has already been opened:

This has probably been asked already but not finding anything so will ask.
Recently decided to get back into the Amiga having gotten a recapped A600 with a gotek and cf card hdd
Currently waiting on a chip ram card and need to get hold of an external fdd
However I also have my older half bros old SparQ drive.
I don't remember which computer he ever had it hooked up to because up til when my mum died back in 1998 we were an Amiga using household.
If I wanted to use it with the Amiga does anyone know if it would work or if this is something that isn't worth bothering to even try?

Subject: The intro is awesome both in the movie and in the game - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure
Just found out a couple of YT channels with skilled people playing some Amiga scores. Wanted to share as it really makes great background music for work/study.

Subject: A500 Mini - found a way to use any USB gamepad controller
Hi, I found a way to get my Esperanza EG106 working with the A500 Mini. Maybe someone will find it useful. The idea is to modify the gamecontrollerdb.txt file on the A500 mini and it should work with any USB gamepad controller.
- First you need to generate the mappings for your USB gamepad controller. The whole process is described on the c64 community
- Then you need a copy of the gamecontrollerdb.txt from your A500 mini. Run the Pandory mod, run the linux shell and copy the file to your usb drive using the following command:
cp /usr/share/manhattan/data/gamecontrollerdb.txt /mnt
- Edit the file on your computer and append the mappings that you generated in the first step
- Now you need to copy the file back to your A500 mini (the system is read-only by default). Run the Pandory mod, run the linux shell and execute the following commands:
su mount /dev/nandb / -o remount cp /mnt/gamecontrollerdb.txt /usr/share/manhattan/data/gamecontrollerdb.txt
Restart your A500 mini and you're all set! Tested on the original firmware without any updates.

Subject: Got my second Amiga (another A500; this time PAL) from a co-worker the other week. Thought it looked kind of handsome the way I had it set up (naked hard drive aside).
Subject: I’m going to brown out my cable connection tonight.
Subject: Does anyone have an official Amiga Workbench download. Preferably 1.3
I’ve been looking for them all over the internet but can’t seem to find one. I’m using an emulator and I would really like to use the real one with all the features.

Subject: Amiga 500 tower project. Looking for more ideas.
I have begun the process of building the a500 tower I always wanted. This one will be a bit different though (see the last bit at the end).
So far I have: A nice black cooler master case which I have cleaned of all internal bracketing, and have been modifying the bracketing to accommodate the board etc.
A pc floppy drive and cable set allowing me to use that pc drive in the Amiga (reads Amiga disks) along with a black gotek on the same cable. (All tested).
A boot drive switch to allow me to boot from that pc drive. (All tested).
Pistorm, cpu relocator, riser to allow me to use pi3 b+ (all tested).
Plipbox (working under emu68).
rgb to scart/hdmi convertor.
Ps2 mouse and keyboard convertors.
Atx to Amiga power convertor (tested and working).
Jerry+ usb.
Various cables to route ports to the back of the case and have them neat and presentable.
In addition to the above there will be a small x86 sbc mounted inside the case with a 7” touchscreen on the front. Will be running windows 10, ADTPro, apple ii game server (handy as I have an apple iie sitting on the same desk) amiga explorer etc. (could also be used to run winuae for testing stuffs ). display switching between the sbc and Amiga will be handled by an HDMI switch on the front of the case.
I am looking for input and ideas.
Should I include space for a Zorro ii adapter for ide cards etc? should I build a utility sink into it? Should I make it capable of mowing my lawn?

Subject: 1987 video: Commodore Amiga 500 and Home Video
Its possible to record to WAV and hear sound at the same time?
Can you record each channel to separate WAV?
I would like to take lead and mix it with my own bass and drums.
