I recently bought a Amiga Future try this out with cover disk (got 143) and it had 2 full applications on it. Is there a listing of what applications/games came on the past cover disks?

I'm trying to reseat the custom chips in my amiga 2000 since it has the blue screen error, but even with a chip pulling tool and a flathead I cannot get them to budge even a little bit. (granted, I'm being excessively cautuois and the entire ordeal is extremely tense). what should I do?

Subject: How Greed has built up in the Retro Amiga scene.
I am curious how most people view the current situation of the whole Amiga Scene.
I remember that sometime ago, when the Vanpire Accelerator was 1st introduced, they were barely selling at cost to something like 110Euros. Then they rightfully increased the price since then, and we are now to the point that a Vampire board now costs close to 600 Euro with a profit margin of 350-400 Euro per board. You even have to purchase licensing costs for some of the board purchased from 3rd party sources.
In a similar manner people who used AmiKIT were more than happy to spend 30-40 Euro for the AmitKIT X and now we have gone to a Subscription model of 30 to 50 Euro per year for literally getting 2-3 updates per year. I understand that some people might say you are paying for the updates and people have to make some money for development but it has started to borderline the domain of greed.
However this trend is also taking place in other industries like the Automotive were they will want to change you for unlGreed. features the they are already available in you car such as extra HP on electric Vehicles or rear seat heating.
Is this the future we want?
I think there are about 8-10k active Amiga users in the world and maybe 2-3k from these people will be able to sinc money to their hobby.
I always will be praising people like Tony Wilen or Chris Edwards who contribute to the community without any profit in mind with either the WinUAE or PiMiGa, which allow you the full Amiga experience without having to spend a penny in new hardware.
Also any kind of project like the Pistorm or buffy will be always welcome.

Anybody have a hookup for the weird dual port RAM chips used in the onboard A3000 flicker fixer? I picked up this (then dead) 3000 in the late 90's for $50 and repaired it from battery damage but had to bypass the flicker fixer because it killed a couple of the RAM's. It still works fine otherwise, but I'm thinking about diving back in there and tidying up some loose ends. I'd like to replace both sets: The Oki ones and the big ones. Thanks!

Hi! Looking to integrate an Amiga into my music studio.
I've been loading songs / samples in to ProTracker and playing the sounds in PT with a MIDI keyboard. It works amazingly.
But - can anyone recommend a better workflow for simply perusing/performing samples? I don't need the tracker portion at all, and ProTracker requires a lot of clicks/steps just to switch to a new song. Is there a tracker or some software that is more geared towards quick loading and playing?
Thanks!

Could someone please point me in the direction of Amiga assembly language code which allows me to plot a single pixel and a single line on the screen of an Amiga. I figure that if I can turn this into a macro I can write the math behind a simple game.
